**About Cocoon SDA Care**

Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff to NDIS-registered provider. Our houses offer our participants a place they can call home, whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs. Our highly skilled and passionate team is dedicated to supporting our Participants to live life to the full.

**About the role**

We are looking for support workers who have industry experience and the following attributes:

- Multiple positions will be available.
- Experience with Dementia
- Experience in managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs.
- Clear and effective communication skills
- A person-centred approach to care
- Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required.
- Experience with Manual Handling
- Ability to follow through Individual Support Plans and knowledge of the BSP

**Mandatory requirement**
- Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged care or equivalent
- First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.
- Current Driver’s License

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a **National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS Worker Screening check** and a **Working with Children Check.**
