Do you have ICT Analyst with a focus on cybersecurity? We’re seeking your expertise to enhance our cybersecurity practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly in Microsoft environments (Azure and Microsoft 365).

**About Us**

The Australian Human Rights Commission, located in Sydney CBD, is dedicated to advancing human rights across Australia. We offer flexible hybrid and remote work options for this full-time role, with a competitive salary of $90,199 - $102,002 pa plus 15.4% superannuation.

**About the Role**

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll implement audit findings to align with the Essential Eight, Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and Information Security Manual (ISM), ensuring our cybersecurity practices meet current and future regulatory needs. You will collaborate across the organization to develop and manage cybersecurity controls and write policies to ensure compliance with Australian Government standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Audit Implementation: Assess and implement cybersecurity measures based on audit findings.
- Cybersecurity Strategy: Provide strategic guidance on cybersecurity governance and compliance.
- Documentation: Develop and manage cybersecurity policies and controls.
- Collaboration: Work with IT teams to integrate cybersecurity measures across systems.
- Training: Create and deliver training to foster a strong cybersecurity culture.
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain an incident response plan and improve cybersecurity practices.
- Data Protection: Ensure secure handling of sensitive information per legal requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate and align cybersecurity objectives with staff and stakeholders.
- Regulatory Reporting: Manage cybersecurity audits and compliance reporting.

**Qualifications**
- Strong knowledge of the Essential Eight, PSPF, and ISM.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity policy development, especially in Microsoft environments.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead initiatives.

**Other requirements**
- Completion of the Commission’s mandatory training modules and attendance at workshops.
- Compliance with the Commission’s policies and procedures.
- Compliance with relevant Commonwealth Government policies.

- Adherence to Work Health and Safety employee obligations and duties.
