Mint Collectables is a leading retailer specializing in sports cards, trading cards & accessories. Currently based in Kedron, Brisbane we are looking to add more team members to our expanding business.

**Job Title**: Retail Assistant

Description:
Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Service**: Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and provide expert recommendations based on customer preferences and needs.
- **Sales**: Promote and sell trading cards, collectibles, and gaming supplies, achieving individual and store sales targets.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise. Ensure the store is well-presented and inventory is accurately tracked.
- **Community Engagement**: Foster a friendly and inclusive environment, encouraging customer participation in events, tournaments, and community activities.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, releases, and news in the trading card industry. Share insights with customers and team members.
- **Cash Handling**: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, manage the cash register, and handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
- **Problem-Solving**: Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with team members to achieve common goals, support store initiatives, and contribute to a positive work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- **Customer Service Experience**: Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
- **Strong Work Ethic**: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy in handling inventory and processing transactions.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
