About us

Inkerman Medical Group is a long established family medical clinic in St Kilda East, specialising in family, women's and children's medicine. We are looking for a friendly and EXPERIENCED Assistant Manager to join our vibrant and dynamic team, long term. The clinic is open every day of the year and you will need to be available for 5 shifts per week (Monday-Friday).

The role

Are you a dedicated and experienced healthcare professional with a passion for leadership and patient care? We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our reception desk, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and promoting a positive work environment. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, manage schedules, and facilitate training to ensure that our reception team deliver exceptional support to our patients. Your leadership skills will be crucial in fostering teamwork, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and continuously improving our processes. - Supporting the GP's and Business Manager
- Answering calls and booking in patients
- Patient Billings
- Liaising with medicare, TAC and other insurance companies
- Ensuring confidentiality and management of patient records
- Multitasking and prioritising workload
- Ability to work a flexible roster
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
- Positive attitude and good team player
- Must have full work rights

Experience with Best Practice software is preferable.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
