**The role**

The Control Systems Lead will be responsible for providing vision and leadership for Gippsland Water in the enhancement and maturity of the Control Systems function.

An important element of this role is to identify, lead and deliver strategic priorities focused on efficiency in the design, development, and implementation and commissioning of high quality control system solutions that meet or exceed our business needs.

You will also focus your efforts outside of the business to develop and build strong relationships with key industry stakeholders to bring insights that enhance decision making in the business.

**What you’ll bring**
- A tertiary qualification in an Engineering or equivalent discipline (Bachelor level)
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse teams
- 5+ years experience in leading control software and SCADA configuration
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Analytical and critical thinking ability to analyse problems and provide solutions
- Demonstrated experience in Contract and Project Management
