**Description**:
About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FIFO Field Service Technician to join our business. Servicing customers’ needs across a range of equipment, including access, power generation, pumping and civil products. In this role, your key accountabilities will be to:

- Carry out all mechanical inspections in accordance with manufacturers & OHS requirements
- Monitor and record parts usage
- Attend to breakdowns and repairs, both on sites and workshop
- Programmed servicing / Engine Servicing both in the workshop and field
- Ensure appropriate records are maintained
- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety requirements are met and demonstrate strong communication and leadership in this area
- In conjunction with Team Leader, monitor reliability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
- Develop and monitor systems to ensure scheduled servicing and repairs carried out to the appropriate standard

**Skills and Experiences**:
Skills and experience
- Trade qualification mechanical, hydraulics, and/or fitter
- Superior skills in trouble shooting and fault finding
- Current driver's licence;
- Forklift, EWP or OHS cards/licences not essential but are highly regarded.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management and customers;
- Strong focus and commitment to safety
- Rental/Hire Industry experience will be highly regarded
