The Opportunity
This role offers an opportunity for a skilled and proactive individual to work as an Energy and Sustainability Analyst within the City FM Energy Centre supporting our partner GYG to achieve their sustainability targets.

**The Role**:

- Develop and deliver innovative solutions to reduce energy consumption, demand and costs
- Investigation and resolution of Energy Event exceptions identified by the City energy management system
- Continuous interrogation of systems in order to identify energy consumption trends within stores to determine areas of improvement
- Analyse information, using COMS, site controllers, databases and other systems to present information in various formats
- Communicating with the field workforce to gather supporting information
- Active participation in tasks allocated related to future development of the Energy Centre
- Provide energy reports based on customer and City’s changing needs
- Investigate and resolve energy consumption anomalies identified by the City FMs Management System and other analytical tools
- Identify new energy conservation opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and develop business cases for future investment to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions

**To Be Considered**:

- Strong hands-on experience with Excel and data visualisation tools (Power BI desired) - Essential
- Excel Competency - Intermediate to Advanced
- Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving, strong analytical and project management skills
- Knowledge of National Electricity Market, tariff reforms, pricing proposals and general industry trends - Preferred
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau and others.
- Experience working with Energy Retailers, Distributors or Consultants
