**The Role**:
Thrive Merrylands is currently seeking a friendly and energetic Assistant Centre Leader who will work true to our mission statement “Thrive is committed to excellence in early education”.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 2IC to support the development and implementation of our curriculum. This role offers you an opportunity to join a dynamic early learning group that offers a supportive peer network and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres.

**Your key priorities will be to**:

- Assist the Centre Leader in all aspects of service operations
- Drive the curriculum, Learning for Life programs across all aspects of children's development
- Maintain and implement centre policies and procedures
- Identify and assist team members in a leadership capacity
- Team leadership and educator engagement
- Building strong relationships with children and families

Thrive Merrylands is our 68 place centre located in Western Sydney and follows a play-based learning approach in a bright and modern building with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for children to explore.

**Your skills and qualifications should include**:

- Bachelor or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer and technology skills
