**About the Centre/Service**

Hunt Community Childcare Centre is a beautiful, 47 place long day care setting catering for children aged from 9 months to 5 years. We are a not for profit, community owned centre that has been operating for over 30 years and are managed by a volunteer parent Committee of Management who collaborate with and support the management team to ensure the successful running of the centre. We have a wonderful team of qualified educators who teach across our 3 rooms, many whom have been with us for a number of years. We also have large, dedicated outdoor areas for our children to play and explore, with a strong focus on natural elements. We follow the Reggio Emilia approach, focusing on learning through play, valuing it as one of the main ways in which children learn and develop. We are incredibly proud of our wonderful service have achieved an overall rating of Exceeding NQS from the The Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority. Hunt Community Child Care Centre is committed to being a child safe organisation and has a zero tolerance for child abuse.

This position requires you to:

- Comply with all regulations, including the Centre's policies and procedures
- Help deliver a high quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for the children at the centre.

**Qualifications**
- Completed a Certificate 3/Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Possess a sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Experience working within an Early Childhood setting
- Current first Aid Certificate and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
- Current working with children's check
