**About the Centre/Service**

Crossway Preschool is situated in a busy part of Brighton, on Bunurong country, and runs a sessional four-year old kindergarten program, three-year old kindergarten program and an Activity group, with a Nature Play (Bush Kinder) program. The preschool has been part of the Brighton community for over 50 years. We provide a high quality and inclusive play-based educational program and believe it is important to provide a natural environment for children to learn in and explore, fostering an appreciation and connection with nature. **Description**
- Crossway Preschool is looking to employ a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to fill a permanent, part time role commencing in Term 1, 28th January 2025. This role involves working as a Diploma Educator in our 3-year old group, together with an experienced Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher. There is a potential to increase hours and work an extra day per week with children in our 4-year old program. There is also potential for Casual/Relief Work on additional days. Crossway Preschool staff are supported by a full-time Director who oversees the day-to-day administration and running of the preschool, together with members of the preschool Board. If you are a qualified Early Childhood Educator and are keen to join a very experienced team of early childhood professionals, working in a beautiful space, with supportive management, in a warm and welcoming community, then we would love to hear from you. **To be successful, you need to**:

- Demonstrate experience in early childhood education and working in a small and supportive team environment.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrate understanding of the VEYLDF, EYLF, NQF and active contribution in the implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan.
- Demonstrate ability to contribute to planning and delivering a high-quality educational program.
- Demonstrate ability to document children's learning through a variety of mediums.
- Have current Working with Children check, Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector training.
- Current first aid and CPR training, emergency management of asthma and anaphylaxis training.
