About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to Oversee and provide operational management of the Indigenous Mental Health Intervention Program (IMHIP) in the delivery of social and emotional wellbeing and mental health support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients currently located in the Brisbane Women's Correctional Centre, Southern Queensland Women's Correctional Centre and the Woodford Correctional Centre with possibility of expansion in the future. This includes daily management of the ongoing service delivery; establishment and maintenance of local partnerships and service interface with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and community; and the ongoing professional development and daily management of staff.

About you

Use a combination of high-level clinical skills and cultural knowledge to support the team to inform assessment and treatment, care planning and quality improvement of the mental health and social and emotional wellbeing services provided by the team
Utilise a high level of initiative and professional judgement as required in carrying out these duties.
