Compliance Analyst

**The opportunity
As the Compliance Analyst - Regulatory you will play a key role in guiding continual improvements to the effectiveness of governance, risk and controls.

You will also play a pivotal role in:

- Supporting the compliance team in the implementation of the Compliance Framework across APAC
- Providing administrative support to the Head of Regulatory Relationships for Committee and adhoc reporting requirements
- Supporting the business in monitoring compliance with regulatory obligations

**This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane/Adelaide office. (Bupa offers hybrid working arrangements and you can work from the office or from home)
**How will I help?**

**You will add value by**:

- Provide an independent view on the quality and sufficiency of the business’s Compliance and Risk management activities.
- Ensure escalation thresholds and triggers are enforced for compliance incidents.
- Support the identification, recording and monitoring of the regulatory change pipeline.
- Along with the broader risk and compliance team, maintain networks across the business to raise the profile of regulatory compliance.
- Deliver high quality reports through excellent verbal and written communication. Maintain registers including conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, and regulator interaction including reviewing and escalation as required.

**What do I need?**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law or Risk & Compliance Management preferred
- 1-5 years professional experience in risk or compliance
- Health industry favourable, but not mandatory
- Strong analytical skills to convert information / data into meaningful management information;
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience in compliance, quality, incident management, or process improvement
- Experience in preparing reporting and insights to assist the business
