We are searching for a motivated and experienced Compliance Analyst to uplift and maintain the control framework for the Probe Collections business unit to ensure that we meet all regulatory and client requirements.

The Compliance Analyst will maintain the financial client governance structure including monthly reporting, closing out findings and keeping Probe up to date with regulatory changes. The role will also coordinate the majority of Banking Finance Client Audits and others as deemed applicable.

**Key Details**:

- Full time |12 month Fixed Term Contract
- WFH - with some time spent on site (Melbourne)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the establishment, coordination, and maintenance of legislative, regulatory, contractual and other compliance processes.
- Uplift and maintain the Collections control framework and documentation.
- Regularly assess controls for weaknesses and areas of improvement.
- Assess Collections operations to determine compliance risk.
- Review Collections SOP’s and policies.
- Manage client compliance and governance audits with support from Operations.
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
- Ensure adequate training programs are in place on the latest Collections regulations and processes.
- Monitor and manage Collections compliance incident reports.
- Assist operations to update operational processes to meet the various regulations and policies.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a compliance officer role.
- Prior experience in privacy compliance.
- Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures including Privacy, Australian Consumer Law, ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines and Banking Code of Practice.
- Ability to assist the operationalisation of the various Regulations and policies.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced organisation and manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to build relationships & work collaboratively with clients and organisational peers.
- Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion.
