**Your opportunity**

The Category/Product Manager will join our Category Management team to define and manage key category and ranging strategies for our Architectural and Cabinetry Hardware business, delivered through innovation, sourcing, supplier partnerships, private label product development, sales and other key category initiatives. This is delivered through our local and international supply partners with support of our sourcing resources. It may also involve line management of a Category Assistant resource.

The ability to conduct in depth analysis and interpret data and combine with key customer insights to develop identify opportunities for growth and execute category and ranging strategies aligned to changing customer needs, market landscape and Lincoln Sentry’s business strategy is core to the role. The role will capture commercial value with local and overseas supply partners, and includes the opportunity to design and bring to market innovation through our ‘Own Brand’ portfolio. It also includes the ability to set pricing and positioning strategies to deliver greater choice and value to our customer base.

Our Category Managers have significant autonomy to manage the full product lifecycle from ideation, product development, competitive sourcing, range & margin mix, optimising the efficiency of categories and ranges, in partnership with our marketing and supply chain and other cross-functional teams.

**What you’ll bring**
- Proven track record to manage or develop product / category ranges, ideally in Architectural OR Cabinetry Hardware
- Bachelor’s degree desirable, ideally in Business Management or related field
- Ability to think strategically and develop winning range and category plans that deliver sustainable and long-term category growth
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience in sourcing and / or product development
- Supplier negotiation and management including rebate agreements
