This position is a **Casual Position starting with 8 hours in ONE shift, with opportunity to increase. We are hiring for a specific client with Mental Health needs.**

To be successful for this position you must have the following:

- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker screening check
- First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Orientation Modules
- COVID-19 Infection Control (Australian Government)
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- **1+ years experience in Disability, Aged Care or Allied Health Preferred**. (No formal qualifications are required)
- **Experience with Mental Health conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Schizophrenia, ASD and more **(can be personal experience or work related experience)

**Job Role**

As a mental health support worker, you will be required to assist clients in accessing the community in a safe environment, this will include travel on public transport or travelling in your own vehicle.

You may be required to provide support with:

- Positive Behaviour Support
- Personal Care (Showering, bathroom assistance & grooming)
- Medication Monitoring - (We provide on the job training and nationally recognised certificate)
- Domestic Assistance (Light House Work)
- Mental Health Support
- Meal Preparations
- Social Support

**Shifts Available**

We are seeking to fill a mental health position that will require you to be available on a Thursday starting at 6.30am and finishing at 2.30pm. Times are **NON-NEGOTIABLE**. There is opportunity to increase hours and days, if you are well-fit.

**COVID-19 considerations**:

- Covid-19 Vaccination is required of a minimum of 2 doses for this particular client.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
