Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver; design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services as part of the P4S program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We will provide long term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people of the southern region of Sydney as well as creating pathways to enter the water industry.
D4C is seeking a Programme manager
- Minor Works to join their expanding team to deliver excellence projects across the Southern Region.
What this role will entail?
Lead the successful delivery of a portfolio of minor works projects and achieve or exceed financial targets for each project, identifying and mitigating issues as they arise and capitalising on opportunities.
The key individual will be expected to manage a team of project managers and supervisors and also expected to further develop and streamline current systems and processes within D4C.
As a Programme Manager
- Minor Works, you'll be leading a program of works and joining at the start of a 10-year project. Your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Manage the overall delivery of all projects to be delivered under the Project Services Term Services Contract (TSC)
- Ensure each project is on or ahead of time with all client expectations met, and in accordance with NEC4 processes.
- Review progress against each project cost plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and budget and take effective remedial action as required
- Conduct regular meetings with the Sydney Water Project Managers to foster a spirit of mutual trust and cooperation.
- Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental management
- Manage the execution of engineering, procurement and construction activities and adopt appropriate construction methods
- Empower team members to make and own decisions and respectfully challenge and support each other.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent
- Previous experience in people management and leading a team to meet performance outcomes.
- Current Drivers Licence
- 5 years' of project management experience
- Advanced financial and commercial management including cost reduction and meeting budgets
- MS Office
- White card
