Landscape Gardener - Melbourne

Full time role

Salary $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation

We create beautiful garden designs by combining seasonal colour, perennials and landscaping.

We work with our clients to create a customized plan that fits their vision and budget. From stunning garden designs to new turf installation, we ensure lasting impressions with our expert execution.

Due to business growth, we are looking for a dedicated, passionate, experienced and motivated Landscape Gardener to join us in creating Melbourne’s beautiful landscapes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- preparing plans and drawings, choosing materials and plants, and scheduling landscape construction;
- setting out and installing hardscape and softscape structures;
- constructing gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, trellises, pergolas, ponds, barbecues and garden furniture;
- preparing lawn areas by spreading topsoil and planting grass or laying turf;
- preparing seedbeds and growing sites;
- planting and propagating bedding plants;
- determining irrigation system needs;
- installing irrigation systems;
- testing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems;
- operating gardening equipment e.g. hedgers, trimmers, brush cutters, whipper snippers, blowers, chainsaws, pole saws, wood chippers and ride on mowers;
- general garden maintenance including planting, mulching & weeding; and
- weed and pest control.

To be considered for this great role you will:

- Have at least 3 years experience in a similar role;
- Have the ability to work as part of a team;
- Have a proactive approach to your work;
- Have the ability to thrive in a busy and dynamic work environment & the ability to provide positive outcomes;
- Pride yourself on your reputation of being punctual and reliable, have good presentation and communication skills and be able & willing to be a part of a strong, supportive team who achieve business goals - together.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
