Job Title: Landscape Gardener

Location: Sydney's North Shore

**Job Type**: Casual

Our small team is growing and we need gardeners and horticulturists to join us immediately. While experience is highly regarded, we welcome quality applicants who want to develop their skills and move into a new career.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintenance of turf, including push mowing and trimming edges with whipper snipper
- Pruning trees, shrubs, hedges and other plants
- Spraying and manual removal of weeds
- Planting and mulching
- Operating other landscaping equipment in accordance with policies and procedures
- Maintain garden equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Application of routine pest management and plant nutrition programs as required
- Clean up of site after servicing using blowers and collection of green waste

Work is on weekdays and starts at 7am. The day consists of two breaks. We are looking for strong, reliable gardening professionals with a passion for plants and getting quality work done.

Your typical week will take you to many locations and involve working together to create new gardens, complete residential and strata maintenance work and revamp gardens for real estate agencies.

Qualifications:

- Gardening and/or landscaping qualifications are an advantage
- Driver's license preferred but not essential

Skills Required:

- Punctuality and a good work ethic
- Great communication skills
- Attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and an ability to work within a small team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
