Our recreational vehicle work includes servicing as well as manufacture and distribute leading products. We work as One Fleetwood across our group of companies, including Building Solutions, Community Solutions and RV Solutions.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Fabrication Manager as a Machine Operator your primary duties will be to safely operate our Frame CAD machine daily. You will also be required to assist the manufacturing team with other general duties throughout our construction process including assembly.

This position will be based out of our Smithfield facility. The position will work Mon-Fri with the option to work Saturday's available at times.

**The key responsibilities of the role are to**:

- Provide assistance to trade workers and labourers to perform their duties
- Operating sand blasting & other machines as directed by management
- Carry out any necessary tasks in the fabrication department as directed by management
- Perform manual tasks associated with the building’s refurbishment and installation
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management
- Clean and prepare factory as needed, including removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials to eliminate possible hazards
- Work as part of a team and follow precise directions from trade staff and site supervisors
- Maintain effective communications with other team members, team leaders and senior officers
- Exercise attention to detail in all tasks performed

**About You**

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

- Machine operating experience ideally sand blasting experience.
- Basic hand & power tool experience
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Construction Induction Card (Desired but not essential)
- All successful applicants will be required to complete a functional medical including drug & alcohol assessment._
