**About your new role**
As Regulatory Manager, you will help manage the dynamic NSW Regulatory Affairs and Engagement team, support the advisory administration process, and ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Acting as regulatory program on agreed projects, you will serve as the conduit for BAU regulatory relationship management and liaise with the various NSW Regulators to meet various commitments. You will build strong relationships with full and regular communication, manage competing priorities, support the development of more junior team members and attend regulator internal working group meetings and external meetings with the Regulator, as well as draft correspondence and submissions and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to assist The Star as it undergoes a period of rapid transformation.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Extensive experience in legal, regulatory or compliance roles in a highly regulated environment
- Previous experience in working with regulatory authorities is preferred
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Law/Governance
- Preference for a junior lawyer with post-qualification experience
- Experience in managing people, or being a senior member of a team in a mentoring capacity is desirable
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills, particularly in a regulatory affairs setting
- Operational experience in a heavily regulated environment
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
- The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
- Facilitative and collaborative approach when engaging with multiple stakeholders.
