**About the role
To provide and support a full Health Care Security Control Room Operation in a 24-hour response environment - utilising and operating all the systems within the control room, ensuring that all requests for assistance are attended to and that all electronic systems are operating to their optimum.
About you
Actively contribute to the de-escalation of aggressive behaviours and incidents, utilising endorsed evidence based contemporary practices.
Record all shift activities, incidents, breaches, observations, comments and supporting digital media in the security reporting system.
Other duties as directed by the Caboolture Hospital Leadership Team, Security Coordinator, Senior Security Officers and in the event QPS or QFES become the lead agency, directions from those entities.
To operate and respond to all aspects of Control Room Operation including emergency response i.e. emergency alarm system.
To operate, monitor, evaluate and maintain CCTV systems comprising over 600 cameras ensuring visual images are captured as necessary, downloading recordings of significant events whilst ensuring compliance with data protection.
Manage the intercoms from the entrances to the campus and offer information on the location of car parks and buildings and any information requested.
