**What you'll do...
As the Material Cost Finance Analyst, you will be working on the award-winning Ranger & Everest Programs supporting the delivery of In-Cycle Product Actions.

This role reports into our Material Cost Finance Managers (Job Share) and will partner with the wider Product Development Team (Marketing, Purchasing, Planning and Engineering) to provide financial support for the delivery of Material Cost and Investment reporting Programs.

This is a hybrid role with a combination of 3 days onsite at our Head office in Broadmeadows and 2 days of remote work.

**Main Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of Material Cost and Investment reporting for the Program;
- Manage the Bill of Material (BoM)
- Provide financial support to the Engineers and Programs Office in reviewing changes for approval and reporting risks and opportunities.
- Complete review and analysis of proposed changes and supplier cost updates, prepare approval papers and ensure robust tracking of approved cost and investment changes.
- Support the setting up and monitoring of the financial targets and program budgets for material components and Tooling.
- Support idea generation and tracking for cost/investment reduction to help achieve financial targets.
- Support financial reporting to Senior Management regarding financial status and variance explanations.
- Analysing and presenting business cases to senior management involving design and sourcing changes.
- Involvement in other related cost analysis work streams:

- Support business decisions on vehicle content through Internal Rate of Return and profitability analysis
- Ad hoc financial and business analysis to support program feature and content decisions.
- Material Planning and Logistics (freight, duty, taxes)
- Plant Sequencing cost analysis/tracking
- Bailment analysis/tracking
- Program Investment consolidation Support Business Plan and Budget processes with cost input and reconciliatio n

**You'll have...**
- A tertiary qualification in accounting, business, Finance or similar Minimum 3 years' experience in Finance analyst role or simila r

**Even better, you may have...
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to prepare and deliver the presentation of program financials in internal and Regional Finance reviews.
- Ability to work within a cross-functional team and across multiple countries (i.e., with Program Finance, Purchasing, Program Management and Engineering teams).
- Ability to summarise detailed information and present key take-outs to non-financial Operating Partners and Senior Management, including the development of appropriate supporting documentation and backups.
- Leadership skills - a self-starter who can take the lead to drive workstreams through to closure and deliver results, influencing operating and finance partners to achieve delivery.
- Process-oriented with attention to detail, comfortable analysing and summarising large volumes of data to identify key data and explain variances.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Intermediate / Advanced in Financial Modelling.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced environment, able to problem-solve and operate successfully in a dynamic environment with conflicting priorities. Ability to adapt quickly and work autonomously in ambiguous situations.
