**About the Opportunity**

Our Finance team works in an exciting, fast paced, ever changing and growing environment. With this, we are now seeking an enthusiastic, confident Junior Finance Analyst to join our team based in Campbellfield. **This unique opportunity will be a 3 month fixed term, Permanent Part-Time role based on 3 days per week, offering a healthy work/life balance.**

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the financial planning and analysis of Thendro, allowing management to make well-informed commercial decisions. The role will assist management to determine the best use of resources to achieve business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyse current and past financial data
- Review current financial performance and identify trends
- Evaluate financial performance and KPI’s by comparing and analysing budget variances
- Prepare reports on the above information and communicate insights of these reports to the wider business
- Consult with the management team to assist with development of long-term commercial plans
- Review and propose budget improvements based on the above information
- Analyse foreign exchange exposure
- Forecast future currency exchange risks
- Propose and Implement strategies to mitigate risks
- Develop initiatives and policies with the objective of improving financial growth
- Assist in preparation of Board/executive level papers and presentations
- Support month-end close processes, reconciliations and analysis

**Ideal Skills, Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business/Commerce or nearing completion
- Experience in similar role or large organisation
- Exposure to financial analysis of data, foreign currency exposure
- Experience in preparing financial reports
- Professional approach with the ability to work under pressure
- Organisation, time management and people skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Possess great communication skills with an open and positive approach

Part-time hours: 22.8 per week

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
