Strategic Account Manager - Federal Government & Defence Customers - Integrated Security Solutions

Is a well established Security Provider on an International and Australian level who have both a sizeable Physical / Manpower, Monitoring / Surveillance services and Electronic Security business unit who focus on the design, install, service and maintenance as well as monitoring of cutting-edge electronic security solutions.
The organisation on a national level service a wide range of industries, from Retail, Commercial, Defence, Transportation, Financial Services, Education and Healthcare and IT / Data Centres - but for the Strategic Account Manager they are specifically tasked with Federal Government and Defence contracts.
**Your new role**

The Strategic Account Manager is charged to develop and implement strategy and tactics across the Federal Government and Defence verticals to grow and secure new business with a key focus on maximum revenue from a defined customer portfolio and targeted customers.
Account Management responsibilities includes increasing share of wallet from additional services and locations whilst managing a portfolio of the companies largest & most strategic customers in Federal Government and Defence.
Sales lifecycles for winning projects are lengthy with multiple decision makers and touchpoints to influence, ranging from procurement contacts with the end user, builders, contractor, their facilities management partners and security consultants.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience selling project and service & maintenance contracts into the Federal Government and Defence industries
- Knowledge of long procurement-led sales lifecycles
- Best in class account management processes with a track record of success maximising revenue lines across existing customers and relationships
- Current Security Clearance is highly desirable, or work experience in High-Risk or Critical Infrastructure settings
**What you'll get in return**
Manage some of the organisation's highest revenue generating and profitable accounts, located in the ACT but with a national remit over any Federal Government and Defence customers.
