This is a fantastic opportunity to assist the City of Casey’s Bushland Crew in the daily maintenance of Bushland reserves.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Work within a team environment to assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the City of Casey Bushland Reserves including weed control, brush cutting, pruning, revegetation, and associated landscape works
- Operate and maintain a range of mechanical equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Work directly with other Bushland Technicians ensuring a high standard of work is achieved in the designated bushland areas.

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent
- Have an understanding of various pest plant management techniques
- Have well-developed flora and fauna identification skills including weed species and plants indigenous to the City of Casey
- Keep up to date with current natural resource management practices, codes, regulations, legislation, and Acts
- Understand current conservation and land management principles and practices for the maintenance of Bushland reserves
