**Role Overview**:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and well-organised Disability Support Worker/Program Coordinator to join our JaeMan Active team. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of JaeMan's social and community access programs. This includes planning, organising, and executing engaging activities that promote an active lifestyle while enhancing participants' physical, social, and cognitive skills.

The Program Coordinator will ensure the smooth operation of programs, boost participant engagement, and support JaeMan’s overall objectives. You will work both autonomously and as part of a team to ensure seamless program delivery, conduct risk assessments, and maintain the safety and well-being of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and organise social and community access programs.
- Manage resources and materials required for activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and program outcomes.
- Engage with participants to encourage active involvement and promote an inclusive environment.
- Communicate program details and schedules to participants, their supports, and external organisations and community partners.
- Maintain open and effective communication with the Program Manager and team members.
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe and controlled environment.
- Gather feedback from participants to enhance program quality and make continuous improvements.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate programs effectively, meeting client needs and schedules.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments to ensure safety during activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage and resolve challenging situations with professionalism and calmness.
- Proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Certificate III in Disability or higher (preferred).
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities (preferred).

**Desirable Attributes**:

- Experience in the mental health sector or working with individuals with complex needs.
- Knowledge or experience with NDIS frameworks and processes.
- A passion for supporting individuals in their personal growth and development.
- Mental Health First Aid certification (desirable but not essential).
- First Aid and CPR certifications.
- National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check (desirable).

Pay: $32.00 - $51.63 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
