**YOUR ROLE**

As the Risk Intelligence Manager within the Direct Insurance Australia (DIA) Division, you will be a key player in enhancing divisional risk resilience. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Operational Risk, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver actionable insights about emerging issues. Your role involves conducting sensemaking activities over internal and external drivers of operational risk, contributing to the development of risk capabilities, and elevating risk maturity within the division by working with our executives. You’ll collaborate with the Operational Risk Leadership Team (ORLT) to align work with DIA Division strategies and initiatives. You’ll engage with the DIA Leadership Team and the DIA Executive Risk Committee (ERCo) to understand key risk intelligence requirements and support our drive to better understand our technology and data risks.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in audit, risk management, or intelligence within a large organization.
- Preferably, experience in both Technology and Risk management.
- Previous experience in leading an analytics team.
- Strong systems thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Understanding of risk management frameworks and business processes.
- Knowledge of the Australian general insurance industry and its regulatory context.
- Ability to create environments where accountable and respectful teams thrive.
- Highly computer literate with advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
