JBS Australia’s Northern Division operates five strategically-placed processing facilities as well as five feedlots across Queensland and New South Wales, with access to an extensive network of quality cattle. Our network provides the ability to meet the specific demands of various market segments with an extensive range of grain-fed and pasture-fed products.

**About the Role**:
Beef City Feedlot is a 26,500 capacity feedlot situated on the Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road between Oakey and Pittsworth on the Darling Downs.

Feedlot Location: 35 km west Toowoomba, 15 km from Oakey and 20 km from Pittsworth.

A rare opportunity exists for a highly motivated, experienced, self-starter to join our dedicated team in this important role in our Feedlot operations.

**Responsibilities include **(but are not limited to)**:

- Operation of Front End Loader and Tractor to screen, stockpile and load manure onto trucks;
- Operation of Loader to clean pens, and associated tasks of a feedlot environment;
- Ensure pen hygiene is maintained in accordance with QA requirements;
- Undertake prestart inspections of all machinery prior to operation;
- Report any mechanical faults to supervisor;
- General labouring type duties; and
- Additional tasks as directed by the Mill Supervisor

**About you**:

- Previous sexperience with operating front end loaders, rigid trucks, bob cats and associated machinery;
- Have sound plant operation skills;
- Possess a good work ethic, be reliable and have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Have a willingness to learn;
- Have reliable transport and drivers license; and
- Have been Q fever vaccinated or willing to have Q fever vaccination.
