
Manager - Early Years - Metropolitan North Region

**Your Role**:
- Provide high-level leadership in developing, planning and implementing strategic early childhood initiatives supporting effective practice, to optimise learning and development outcomes for children across early childhood.
- Lead the development and management of strategic early childhood initiatives to increase the capacity of key stakeholders to support successful transitions and the participation and engagement of children in early childhood services.
The Manager reports to the Director, Metropolitan North Region, Partnerships and Programs. Early Childhood and State Schools Division.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Lead and manage a team to provide sustained and consistent implementation of early childhood-specific initiatives, prioritising the participation and engagement of all children in development and learning pathways; and in quality transitions, that lead to successful educational outcomes and well-being.
- Identify, assess and deliver on strategic early childhood issues and provide advice to the Director and senior management.
- Provide strategic direction in the development of project plans, including risk management strategies, high level data analysis and key performance measures.
- Establish evaluation and monitoring systems to assess the success of early childhood initiatives, programs, strategies and policies in regions and communicate these outcomes to key stakeholders and clients.
- Monitor performance and capability of staff and develop and implement strategies to strengthen knowledge, business systems and team performance to meet organisational and client needs
- Strong communicator, exceptional management, previous Manager experience relevant to the role.
