We are currently seeking an experienced **Cable Jointer** who is looking for new challenges and growth opportunities to extend their career.
- Demonstrated experience working in an underground cable jointer role
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) - Power Systems either Distribution Overhead **or** Distribution Cable Jointing (highly regarded)
- Current unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence (highly regarded)
- Construction Induction (White) Card
- Ability to hold Western Power Basic Network Authority
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance certificate
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

**The below would be advantageous**:

- Current First Aid/CPR accreditation
- Plant Operations (Excavator) experience
- Working at Heights Certificate
- High Risk Work Licence - WP
- Confined Spaces & Gas Ticket

**Duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Reading of plans, identify and locate underground services
- Cable truck and winch operations
- Rod and rope of underground conduits
- Internal conduit and cable installations
- Liaison with Electrical Superintendent and Project Site Manager
