In Home Child Care Educator- The Gap

The Gap, Australia We Need a Nanny Full time

**Our Family**:

- After school care needed for 7-year-old boy. Hours needed: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 3:15pm-6pm 9am-5pm (SCHOOL HOLIDAYS) Mr 7 is in a wheelchair and limited verbal communication. No car needed as Mr 7 catches the bus to and from school.

**Your Duties**:

- The educator will be required to care for Mr 7's basic routine needs while also focusing on developmentally appropriate activities in regards to fostering and expanding upon developmental milestones. The educator should also consider current and emerging interests and use these with their programming. Mr 7 enjoys going for walks, jumping on the trampoline, going on the swings, playing with his toys, animals and their sounds, music and bubbles. The family would like the educator to support Mr 7 with goals from his therapists along with providing a fun and safe learning environment.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- Must be willing to register with Uniting In Home Child Care and meet the requirements for this. Our In Home Care program operates through a contractor model, which means our Educators are required to have their own ABN and Public Liability Insurance - both which we can assist with obtaining. Other requirements to register include - (it might seem a lot, but we are definitely here to step you through it all) - Police Check - Blue Card - Minimum working towards certificate III - First Aid and CPR - Medical Clearance
