At The Gap Play and Learn, we are all about children learning through play and engagement with our team of Educators. Everything that we do is based around
PLAY as we believe this to be a child’s natural learning platform. Hence our name _Play and Learn._ We are passionate about building a safe and nurturing place for children and are looking for Educators who are enthusiastic about this too

Our facilities include well-resourced rooms, loads of wood and natural materials, and landscaped playgrounds that are FUN Our rooms have plenty of space and storage and _**we do not exploit the dreaded ‘under-the-roof’ ratio**_ system.

We are a privately owned centre and operate 51 weeks of the year (closed for
Christmas), 6.15am till 6.00pm Monday to Friday so require Educators with flexible availability. ECT's are offered set hours.

What we need from you:

- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Diploma of Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
- Above Award Wage for the right applicant
- Current Working with Children Check Blue Card or Exemption Card
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the new QLD government mandate
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Love being a positive role model for children, Enjoy engaging with children and actively listening to what they have to say, Speak respectfully to children, encourage them, and build meaningful relationships
- Act honestly and with integrity

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: $27.94 - $30.84 per hour
