As a Workplace, Health & Safety Lead, you will play a key role in the implementation of new initiatives and ensure the safety and compliance of our employees and operations, overseeing and managing all aspects of health and safety programs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the GM and collaborating closely with logistics and warehouse teams, this role spearheads our OHS efforts. Responsibilities encompass fostering OHS comprehension, robust risk management, ensuring a secure work setting, and offering comprehensive training. Facilitating worker involvement through consultation processes and establishing systems for incident management are integral parts of this dynamic role.
- Ensuring Employers & Employees Understand the OHS Responsibilities and Obligations
- Effective Risk Management and implementation of Processes
- Maintaining a Healthy and Safe Workplace
- Providing Information, Instruction, Training, and Supervision
- Managing the Consultation Process for Workers to be involved in the OHS process
- Systems and Procedures for Health and Safety Issues and Incidents

**Skills & Experience**:

- Tertiary or vocational qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety.
- A solid understanding of OHS and workers' compensation legislation, standards, and practices.
- Prior experience coordinating and delivering OHS
- A continuous improvement mindset
- A passion for representing the interests of and improving the working conditions across all levels of the
- A current Victorian Driver’s License
