**Role Details**

The Project Officer, Contract Management is a role within Office for Women (OFW) and is accountable to the Manager, Domestic and Family Violence for:

- Providing advice and undertaking the preparation, negotiation, and monitoring of service and grant agreements in accordance with OFW requirements.
- Supporting and facilitating the ongoing development and capacity building of the Department’s funded service providers.
- Coordinating policy, projects and strategy to achieve OFW and the Department’s priorities.
- Providing consultation services to a range of clients on Government policy, specific programs and women’s issues.

Key outcomes and accountabilities:
1. Prepare high-level written documents including procurement documents, contract management reports, Ministerial briefings, submissions and reports to a range of stakeholders.
2. Provide advice and contribute to the preparation, negotiation, and monitoring of service agreements including liaising with the Department’s funded service providers on issues related to compliance and performance.
3. Evaluate the implementation of policies and programs, including undertaking appropriate data and outcome analysis.
4. Establish and maintain effective relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Facilitate consultation and communication with clients and non-government agencies to obtain information regarding state programs and policy initiatives, including provision of input into national policy initiatives.
6. Develop, implement and monitor projects by preparing regular project reports, briefings, and other relevant correspondence.
7. Contribute to the achievement of effective systems that support the OFW strategic directions by building and maintaining professional and effective partnerships with staff and key stakeholders.
