**_The Queensland Police Service (QPS) has embarked on a significant organisational transformation of its work health and safety functions.

Central to these improvements is the significant uplift in the capacity and capability of the specialist workforce within the Safety Strategy Division.

Psychosocial Health and Safety is a new team within the Safety Strategy Division.

It is established as a specialist WHS unit focussed on strengthening QPS's preventative and organisational systems approaches to psychological health and safety.

Safety and risk management specialists are being sought with organisational psychology, human factors or similar areas of expertise to work with our diverse workforce performing policing, emergency and rescue services, operational support, and corporate and business support functions.

You will be part of the inaugural specialist psychosocial health and safety team within a Division which includes other WHS practitioners in governance and safety operations.

You will be responsible for co-delivering psychosocial risk management activities and developing and implementing our framework for identifying, assessing and managing psychosocial risk across our diverse policing, disaster and emergency response operations.

A systems thinker, collaborator and coach will be some of the key attributes of role within our new specialist WHS unit
