Are you an experienced Medical Receptionist who has a passion for holistic medicine? Do you have a knack for customer service? If so, Releaf Clinics wants you to join our team Releaf Clinics is a leading provider of holistic medicine in Australia. We offer face-to-face and telehealth consultations to patients who are looking for natural and effective solutions for their health conditions. Reporting to the Practice Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join a growing team with career development opportunities. As a Medical Receptionist at Releaf Clinics, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Welcoming and engaging patients in person and over the phone
- Answering phone calls promptly and courteously
- Scheduling, confirming, rescheduling and cancelling patient appointments using Helix (Medical Director), or other software platforms according to doctor availability and patient preferences
- Providing information to new and current patients about our services, fees, policies, and procedures
- Taking messages and relaying them to the relevant staff member or doctor
- Updating patient records and accounts with accurate and current information
- Processing payments and billing over the phone or in clinic
- Handling phone inquiries or emergencies in a calm and professional manner
- Collaborating with other receptionists and staff members to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- At least one year of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a sales focused role
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and multitask effectively
- The ability to work well in a team and independently
- A willingness to learn and grow with the company
- Experience working with medical software, such as Best Practice, Medical Director or Genie
- Knowledge of Medicare, private health funds, and bulk billing procedures
