The Role This role is pivotal to driving operational excellence and fostering business growth through the formulation of strategic initiatives, performance enhancement, efficient resource procurement, planning of projects and workload, as well as maintaining quality and compliance. As a leader within the organisation, you will guide your team to upholding the collective values of the organisation to actively propel the Winning Aspiration and Value Proposition.
The Operations department is made up of the Warehouse, Production, Prefabrication and Purchasing teams. As you are someone that leads by example, you'll utilise your strong leadership skills to encourage, inspire and motivate your team, as you actively work towards a high performing team that focuses on customer service excellence, widespread implementation of best practices, and the orchestration of operations in a cost-effective manner.

**The responsibilities include**:

- Strategizing to enhance operational efficiency and stimulate business growth
- Elevating team performance and cultivating a culture of excellence
- Planning day to day activities and projects for the team
- Skilfully managing procurement and allocation of stock
- Ensuring meticulous compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including OH&S
- Overseeing the Warehouse, Production, Purchasing and Prefabrication teams

**What we are looking for**:

- Broad Operations experience with industry experience in manufacturing or production
- Experience with LEAN methodologies/management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting and understanding of data analysis
- A leadership style that empowers people to do their best work, is collaborative, flexible, empathetic and solutions focused
- A hands-on approach to build strong relationships with your team
- Grow and develop the team on a stable platform for continuous improvement
