Client Relationship Advisor

Local Government authority based in the inner western suburbs | 3-4-month contract | Managing the relationship between service provider and council
- Assist the council with the roll out of their new HRIS & Payroll system

- Develop relationship and manage expectations of the service provider

**About the company**

You will be working for a Local Government authority based in the inner western suburbs. This is a great opportunity to develop your career and get experience working for a Local Government.

You will be working as part of a collaborative and dynamic team who look to support and develop one another. Reporting directly into the Manager of People & Performance, this is a full-time opportunity, working Monday - Friday. The contract is initially for 3 months but it could lead to longer term opportunities within other areas of the council. They are offering a flexible hybrid work environment.

**Your key responsibilities include**:

- Project management of the rollout of new HRIS and Payroll system
- Manage relationship with the service provider to ensure a smooth transition
- Design, consult and implement solutions to complex and unusual issues associated with the existing systems
- Establish and manage inter-departmental project teams and working groups, in relation to the HRIS and Payroll project, ensuring appropriate involvement/consultation of relevant stakeholders occurs throughout the project
- Work cohesively with other business areas to ensure the systems meets all requirements
- Escalate any concerns and performance issues to the Manager People & Performance as required
- Cost and budget management at all stages
- Contract administration
- Liaise with consultants to achieve the best outcomes for Council.
- Other adhoc duties as required

**You will have the following**:

- Well-developed project management and contract management skills.
- The ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally - sustain relationships, resolve conflict, negotiate effectively, and develop collaborative working relationships
- Proven experience within contract/ supplier relationship management
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles processes and practices
