PHE has been growing; therefore, we are searching for motivated, industry-experienced individuals with a strong Electrical HV Infrastructure background to join the team as the General Manager of HV

As General Manager of HV, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as emotional intelligence to be an effective leader and motivator to your team. You will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and have the ability to deliver the project on time, whilst maintaining the great reputation the company holds with the client.

This role is based in any of our branch offices including, Brisbane, Gympie, Adelaide, Bathurst, or Tumut.

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

- Background in HV Electrical Infrastructure, preferably in mining, oil and gas, and power generation
- Involvement with the construction of high-voltage powerlines, and maintenance of existing poles and wires,
- Understanding installation and commissioning of other High Voltage equipment including load break switches and air break switches,
- Experience with the termination of HV cabling up to 33kV including the supply and installation of transformers, and ring main units.
- Demonstrated success in a Project Management role
- Ability to manage the entire Project Management Cycle and delivery of on-time and in-budget projects
- Commercial acumen and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
- Problem-solving and dispute-resolution skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
- Qualified HV cable jointer
- Electrical License
- Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
- Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
- White / Blue Construction Card
