An exceptional opportunity exists in the maintenance leadership team of Gosford and Woy Woy Hospital and surrounding Community Health Centres. Reporting to the Manager Maintenance Operations, the Maintenance Manager, Gosford and Woy Woy Hospitals oversees the day to day delivery of Maintenance Operations for Gosford and Woy Woy Hospitals and surrounding Community Health Centres ensuring maintenance functions support the delivery of hospital services, and that systems failures do not result in disruptions to essential services. This encompasses managing a multidisciplinary team of trade staff to deliver an efficient and effective preventative and corrective maintenance program for plant, machinery, buildings and grounds.
The Maintenance Manager Gosford and Woy Woy Hospitals will also be required to support the renovation and construction of building, plant and equipment, including performing project work assisting the Capital Works team, Condition assessments and overseeing computer maintenance systems and Building Management System.
You will work collaboratively with the Compliance Manager in ensuring that compliance management and reporting occurs for all relevant areas.
**About You**
- A relevant engineering or trade qualification that would meet the requirements for eligibility for acceptance as a member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering, Australia - NSW Branch.
- Significant demonstrated experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams in a changing environment and in undertaking minor capital works project work, within a large healthcare organisation or similar setting.
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance of plant and equipment, and management of a planned, preventative and emergency maintenance program to support the efficient delivery of Hospital Services.
- Sound written communication skills, including report writing and demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and standards. Ability to demonstrate strong commitment to customer focus and service delivery in consultation with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience working with building and infrastructure electronic management systems and experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- NSW Drivers’ Licence and ability to participate in and support the District’s After Hours on-call roster.
