Are you passionate about creating vibrant, inclusive spaces where families and children can learn, connect, and thrive? We’re looking for someone who’s ready to bring their energy and expertise to our Library Services team. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of the Family Engagement and Learning team, collaborating with all team members to ensure every event, activity, and outreach initiative runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impact.

You will assist in the coordination and delivery of fun and dynamic programs such as Story Time, Lego at the Library, Art Clubs, Chill Clubs, Comic Clubs, Baby Time, and Youth Programs, fostering creativity, connection, and lifelong learning for our vibrant community.

**What you’ll be diving into**:

- Organise and deliver engaging library programs, events, and activities for families and children across diverse themes.
- Coordinate meetings and events like a pro—booking speakers, venues, and catering, sending out invitations, and keeping RSVP lists in check.
- Craft promotional materials, prepare program resources, and curate eye-catching displays in our branches.
- Take charge as the senior on duty, and provide top-notch customer service during rostered shifts, including evenings and weekends, at any Hobsons Bay service centre, library, community hub, call centre, or outreach location.

**What makes you the perfect fit**:

- A Certificate or Diploma in libraries, education, or community development—or equivalent experience in a related field.
- A knack for connecting with the community and stellar communication skills.
- Strong administrative skills and tech-savviness.
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence to keep you mobile and ready for action.
