Global Business College of Australia (GBCA) is a training organisation that specialises in the areas of business, entrepreneurship, financial services and IT, and can tailor programs according to specific needs and requirements. It is the sibling company to Draco Digital. Located in central Melbourne, it is situated in the midst of large shopping centres and famous landmarks such as the Victoria state library, the location provides maximum transportation convenience.

About the opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about the game industry and education. As part of our team, your role is crucial for facilitating courses and events between industry companies, students and other associations. You will oversee our game-related projects to ensure timely deliveries.

By working closely with the Managing Director and our collaborators, you will have an opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and further develop your career in the different directions.

Key Duties

Coordinate and facilitate game events including competitions, workshops, short courses

Foster and maintain relationship with companies, associations, and other partners

Offer gaming-related analysis and insights

Skills to excel in this role

Preferred to have background in game design/art or similar

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent computer skills

Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritise deliverables

Ability to research and report on in efficient and quality manner

Proven ability to problem solve and multi-task

Stakeholder management experience

Ability to negotiate effectively to achieve required outcomes

Bonus

Chinese speaking and writing.

Game production and software knowledge

Knowledge of VET and HE course design structure.
