**Role Overview**

The Tactical Air Mobility Program Manager is a member of the ASIST Delivery Team reporting to the Head of Simulation & Training, and is responsible for ensuring the safe operational delivery and integration of recurring Training, Maintenance, Engineering and Project support services for their assigned sites and platforms to meet contract requirements, whilst acting as a senior customer interface to ensure alignment of CAE and Customer plans.

This position requires frequent travel between RAAF Richmond and RAAF Amberley.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Proactively engaging with the customer (O5-O6 military equivalent) to build trust and credibility, with a focus on solving customer problems and balancing contract and customer requirements against the strategic goals of CAE,
- Building, motivating & inspiring their team within a culture that prioritises integrity, openness, empowerment, innovation and continuous improvement,
- Collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders within a matrixed organisation to ensure the compliant delivery of contract outcomes,
- Development of Annual Budget and Plans, including identification of future customer needs and opportunities for business growth, and then delivering against these plans and objectives, whilst displaying a high degree of commercial and business acumen.
- Work with other CAE teams and lead ASIST operational business development activities to identify and capture growth opportunities.
- Ensure efficient and high-quality Training Delivery and Training Support Services in line with customer contracts through customer focused staff and communication, including implementation of CAE’s safety management system at assigned sites, including establishing and maintaining a “safety first” culture.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Operations Management / Leadership experience, Program Management experience and qualifications (e.g. Prince2/PM BoK), Defence experience (preferably in Aviation), Project Management experience
- Australian Security Clearance
- Australian citizens only
