ALG has an exciting opportunity for an experienced person to join our client in their Supply Chain Division in Sydney. The is a permanent role and has one direct report being a Supply Chain Administrator and will report to the General Manager Supply Chain based in Sydney.

Duties will include:

- Managing and coordinating all aspects of the Store
- Liaising closely with the Engineering team to determine priority levels and manage materials to meet promised dates.
- Identifying and negotiating with potential suppliers.
- Receiving and dispatch of goods, physically and electronically. Including Dangerous Goods declarations.
- Proactively follow through on urgent (AOG) orders and keeping stakeholders informed of the order status and next steps.
- Determining correct source for materials based upon specific customers' requirements
- The preparation, submission and expediting of purchase orders.
- Maintaining accurate parts records and files in line with regulatory requirements.
- Review of completed work orders and ensuring all materials are priced correctly to maximise revenue.
- Preparation of freight documents and core returns to manufacturers.
- Responsible for receipt, despatch & tracking of tooling requiring calibration/servicing.
- Cyclical stock takes.
- Manage stock levels of consumable items.
- Proficient with various computer programs.

The following would be considered highly desirable (not essential):

- Previous Aviation Stores experience
- Experience in Tool Control
- Forklift Licence
- Airside drivers' licence
