**About the Role**:
John Holland is looking to engage with established, experienced and ambitious construction managers to take on a senior leadership role across our Adelaide business.

This senior leadership role will allow you to contribute to the sustainable growth and success of the South Australian business by drawing on your industry knowledge and capabilities. This senior leadership roles needs your well-defined skills in all aspects of civil infrastructure project development and delivery with a track record of meeting or exceeding client and community objectives across a portfolio of projects

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Develop and maintain strategic regional business relationships with key clients and industry partners that result in viable projects and prospects
- Manage the overall delivery of an assigned portfolio of infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery is on or ahead of time with all client expectations met. Co-ordinate on a regular basis with Project Directors to ensure issues of resourcing, performance and HSE are being managed across the region.
- Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take effective remedial action as required
- People management: Monitor staff and labour resourcing to ensure the projects have the capability to achieve targets, supervise workforce, including subcontractors, and foster a high-performance team within a positive employee relations environment through discipline, coaching and mentoring
- Demonstrate leadership in HSE&Q management

**To be successful in this key role, you will have**:

- Relevant qualifications and project experience suitable to work on large and complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Project Manager/Project Director/Construction Manager position or be more than ready to step up into a leadership role.
- Successful construction management of multidisciplinary projects from a wide range of contract values and complexity
