Automotive Trades Assistant

You will gain experience working with all makes and models of vehicles, from passenger cars, 4WDs, classics.

We are looking for two enthusiastic and reliable Trade Assistant to join our teams, one at our Enoggera branch, one at the Moorooka branch, you will be working closely with our experienced technicians.

**Reporting to the Store Manager, and working with a qualified Technician your main duties will include**:

- Perform fault diagnosis within your skill level and experience
- Brake, steering and suspension checks
- General repair and upgrades of suspension and brake components
- Wheel alignment
- Moderate Electrical installations including tow bars
- Picking-up and delivering parts as required
- Other miscellaneous duties as required
- Current full driver's license
- A passion to learn and grow within the Automotive industry
- Prepared to complete required training
- Sound level of verbal and written communication
- Solid mechanical aptitude and quality workmanship
- Experience in working in a team environment
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A strong focus towards safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures
- Certificate II in Automotive Technology advantageous

**Salary**: $24.50 - $31.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Moorooka, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
