The team advises on all aspects of real estate activity including high-profile acquisitions and divestments, asset management, large-scale development schemes, real estate finance, funds, joint ventures, construction, planning, environment and tax advice. We also advise on major urban regeneration projects, the real estate aspects of energy, resources and infrastructure projects, property financing transactions, public private partnerships and private finance initiatives.

**The role**:
Includes conveyancing, leasing and assisting with registration and other dealings with the title's office. Specific responsibilities include:

- Compiling contracts for sale of land.
- Attending to PEXA settlements (or paper settlements, if required), including working with other teams on property financing settlements.
- Handling smaller property matters such as routine leasing (including disclosure statements under the Retail Leases Act 1994 (NSW) and drafting simple tenancy documents).
- Liaising with the search agents.
- Liaising with the NSW Land Registry Service to arrange registration of dealings (including leases).
- Organisation of information through use of spreadsheets, links etc on large scale matters.
- Matter and client/project management.
- Preparation of client and matter status reports.

**You**:

- 2+ years' experience as a paralegal in property
- Experience with and a good working knowledge of PEXA.
- Ability to run straightforward property settlements independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to utilise technology in managing on large projects (such as excel, for example).
- Team-focused and the ability to work independently, taking a proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service and a desire to interact with the market and build client relationships.
