We are looking for more A-players to join our driven and passionate team and become a valued part of the Steelcraft family. Due to strong growth, we have multiple additional positions available within our Detailing Team from entry-level trainee through to the senior level.

**Our Business**:
Steelcraft Framing has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of light gauge steel framing in QLD. We continue to grow strongly thanks to our fantastic team, premium products, word-of-mouth recommendations and dedication to supporting Queensland's best builders.

**The Role**:
This role is critical in producing our premium quality steel house framing. The main task is to transform architectural building plans into a 3D framing model ready for manufacturing using Vertex CAD software. This role is only for applicants currently living in South East Queensland.

**Desired Skills and Experience**

**1. Proficiency in Vertex CAD Software**: Strong familiarity with Vertex CAD software is highly regarded for this role.

**2. Architectural Drawing Interpretation**: Ability to analyze and interpret architectural 2D drawings accurately is essential to excel in this position.

**3. Construction Knowledge**: A solid understanding of construction terminology and building practices is crucial for effective communication and collaboration on projects.

**4. Teamwork and Communication**: Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a team and communicate ideas clearly is vital to facilitate efficient project management and meet set deadlines.

**5. Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail is required to ensure the accurate and precise detailing of steel structures, minimising errors and ensuring structural integrity.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
