**Your new company**
A well-established Distribution & Spare Parts Centre are looking for a Safety & RTW Manager on a permanent basis to join their team with the common focus of improving safety.

**Your new role**
This position is responsible for safety, health, well-being, and people development in the National Distribution Centre Sydney. One of the key objectives of this role is it to bring people at first mindset by creating high engagement level amongst leaders, employees, and all relevant stakeholders.

You will be also the safety network leader and mobilize the strengths of its members to learn best practices and support for an improved cross functional engagement. This is by coaching, training, and partnering to drive a safe, caring, and a learning organization.

Your role will include:

- Develop and implement WHS guidelines and policies
- Develop and coordinate relevant WH&S training
- Accident/ Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Review and continued development of risk assessments
- Provide regular WHS Statistical reports and data
- Manage Workers Compensation claims and Return to Work Plans
- Ensure records are maintained and compliant in line with WHS legislation
- Continual development/monitoring/improvements of WHS systems

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Qualifications in WHS and RTW
- Training experience (Certificate IV Training & Assessment preferred)
- Exposure to Manufacturing/Warehousing industries desirable
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation
- Experience in delivering training sessions and toolbox talks
- ISO (45001 and 19001) Foundations Certification with Auditor qualifications preferred
- Real time experience of risk assessment and audit processes and facilitation
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills working with a variety of different backgrounds
