To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a **Geomatics Manager** to join our team.

**The Role**:Reporting to the**Chief Information Officer**,**this role will create and maintain the vision and strategic direction for Geomatics and provide the future state, technical direction and operational management of GIS within Arrow Energy.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**In addition, you will**:

- Provide the operational outsourced GIS services and advice that meets business needs and keep the GIS function up-to-date with GIS skills, policy, procedures and technology that will add value to the business.
- Foster a dynamic and professional Geomatics Team by leveraging each member's strengths, collaborating seamlessly with the broader Geomatics group, and continuously striving for improvement. Ensure our GIS System is functional, future-proof, and meets business needs, while implementing effective improvement projects that are fit for purpose and widely used.
- Maintain a geomatics project funnel, collaborating with the ICT PMO to prioritize and deliver projects that provide significant business benefits.
- Build a collaborative and influential interface with key stakeholders across the business to drive innovation and improvement across the business.

**About You**

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:

- A University degree in the relevant discipline.
- Up to 10 years of work experience with proficiency in GIS and data analysis and consultancy with wide exposure to corporate GIS data lifecycle and significant exposure to, and knowledge of, the major data assets and information flows of the organisation from Projects to Operations.
- Strong data management background in energy, infrastructure, mining or other applicable industry
- Persuasive communication at all levels
- Systematic and a disciplined approach to problem solving with demonstrable verbal and written communications skills.
